VAB and Barnsley Arena are continually looking to help service users and carers to improve services. Recently service users raised with us, undertaking a survey to look at the response received from the statutory mental health services, when contacted by a third sector organisation with concerns about the mental state of a service user who they think requires urgent help or assistance. The importance for asking the questions is that service users are asked annually to provide a view on the self assessment survey conducted by the service and this would help the service users in their task.
