Payroll
A competitively priced, payroll bureau and advice Service for any voluntary and community groups who employ staff. The service provides practical support, information and advice on PAYE and other payroll related issues. We offer:-
- Production of monthly/weekly pay slips on our multi-faceted payroll system and essential payroll reports
- Assistance with payroll, tax and Inland Revenue queries
- Production of all year end data such as P60’s and assistance with year end queries
- Advice and training on any payroll issues, e.g. absence – SSP/SMP, supporting treasurers and record keeping
Community Accountancy
- A Community Accountancy Service is currently being developed and will provide a wide range of competitively priced financial services, advice and information to support Third Sector Organisations in Barnsley. Services offered will include:-
- Preparation and Year end Examination of Accounts providing an independent scrutiny of accounts in line with Charity Commissions guidelines, Charities SORP requirements and if appropriate, the Companies Act requirements
- Training and Support on Accounting Systems (including Computerised Accounting Packages) providing support on either a one-to-one or group basis with accounting systems, financial management, planning and bookkeeping so that all stakeholder requirements are satisfied e.g. Companies’ House, Charity Commission, Trustees, Funders, Service Users and Members.
- Training for Volunteers to work in Community Accountancy comprehensive training, experience and support to those interested in joining our volunteer programme?
