BBEMI
Barnsley Black and Ethnic Minority Initiative BBEMI is made up of a number of different member communities. Each of the community's directors sit on the BBEMI Board of Directors and are responsible for the overall direction of the organisation. BBEMI ensure the full involvement of Barnsley’s black and minority ethnic community in the social and economic regeneration of Barnsley, enabling them to realise their full potential in employment, education, health, social/cultural, and or any other interests and or opportunities appropriate to the needs of Barnsley’s black and minority ethnic community.
BLINK Barnsley Mental Health Helpline
BLINK is available 7 days a week, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. It is for anyone who has worries or concerns that are affecting their mental well being, inc, stress, depression,anxiety,isolation. We offer support for relatives, friends and carers of those with mental health needs.

One Barnsley
One Barnsley is our Local Strategic Partnership (LSP). An LSP is a single non-statutory, multi-agency body, which matches local authority boundaries, and aims to bring together at a local level the different parts of the public, private, community and voluntary sectors. LSPs are key to tackling deep seated, multi-faceted problems, requiring a range of responses from different bodies. Local partners working through a LSP will be expected to take many of the major decisions about priorities for their local area.
