How Your Town Works - Free course - Lunch provided

VAB and BMBC have scheduled another free How Your Town Works training and information course. This highly popular event (which runs one Monday per week for six weeks and is held at The Core, County Way, Barnsley) gives local people a chance to discover:

• How the Council works together with Third Sector and other partners to improve Barnsley;
• Who makes decisions and how to influence them;
• How to be more involved in changing things and strengthening the voice of the community.

The course is aimed at Community Activists (seasoned or just starting out), people involved in boroughwide Third Sector organisations and paid workers who would like their organisations become more involved.

Please note that whilst the start date for this course is featured here as 8 February, this is just for the taster session; the actual sessions run from 22 February to 29 March.
